A close look at our new agritourism operation in Glenburnie. This tour focuses on the agricultural side of our family business. In addition to the sculpture gallery, we operate a 50-acre regenerative woodland originally designed and planted by a visionary ecologist in the 1960s and 1970s on severely-eroded cattleland. In addition to timber, the maturing forest is now being managed to produce non-wood products such as edible mushrooms and rare woodland perennials.
Join this tour to observe how land regeneration is possible through replanting and stewardship. Learn how we identify and control invasive species. Traverse remnants of old growth cedar and hard maple. Bring binoculars, camera and field guides. BONUS: Enjoy off-season sculpture viewing as well, including some new-arrivals. This walking tour is priced per-person and requires long pants and hiking boots.
